General HBFonts Licenses to Support Your Creative Vision

HBFonts aim to support your creative projects, providing you access to a wide range of aesthetically pleasing and beautiful fonts and other designs. To make accessibility and usage more convenient, we provide two licenses.

Individuals, businesses and multiple household users can buy the licenses as per their needs. Each license has conditions for different applications. This page entails the limitations and allowances on both types of licenses.

Important Definitions:

Personal Use:

Personal use refers to individual customers that purchase and/or download packages from the HBFonts website for their personal use only. This means that the fonts and other designs won’t be sold or distributed further.

Commercial Use:

Commercial refers to customers that purchase and/or download packages from the HBFonts website for commercial usage. This means that customers will have the right to sell or distribute items made using our products.

For example, a brand uses our products to print t-shirts, mugs, posters etc. using fonts purchased from HBFonts.

Platform Use:

Platform use refers to those customers who purchase and/or download packages from the HBFonts website and allow their “end customers” to use our products through their internal software.

For example, a company that allows influencers and brands to customize their merchandise on the website using the fonts or other designs purchased from HBFonts.

Unlimited Users:

This refers to the license’s allowance of an unlimited number of people within an organization, household or platform to use our products.

Unlimited Sales:

This refers to the absence of a cap or limit on the number of sales an organization, household or platform makes using our products.

Licenses:

The following is a breakdown of how a licensed asset can be used under different applications.

*All products/fonts purchased made after [ 4-June-2020 ] are licensed under any one of the following licenses

License Usage and Limitations:

Non-Acceptable Use	Distributing or selling products/fonts or files license from HBFonts is not allowed in any form Allowing more than person to use the font files – whether commercially or personally Digital cut and/or font files being digitized and sold as embroidery files is not allowed Using products/fonts or other files on products (TV, music videos etc.) with more than 100,000 views is not allowed Users are not allowed to change the products/fonts into different formats without the designer’s explicit permission Selling or distributing a digital product consisting of a font or design that resembles ours is not allowed End users are not allowed to customize or use the products/fonts or designs for on-demand print products	Distributing or selling products/fonts or files license from HBFonts is not allowed in any form Digital cut and/or font files being digitized and sold as embroidery files is not allowed Customers are not allowed to sell or transfer the license to another company or user Commercial and personal users are not allowed to let people outside of their household or organization to use the products/fonts or designs purchased from HBFonts Users are not allowed to change the products/fonts into different formats without the designer’s explicit permission

*Examples of Acceptable Commercial Use of the Premium License

Unlimited Use:

Using the fonts or other products to:

Design and sell physical art/craft/flyer products (online or in-person)
Design, print and sell non-customizable physical products
Design a mobile application
Make end products using programs such as Adobe Illustrator and Silhouette Studio
